TMJ is Featured in the Exhibition, 'American Jewelry in New Mexico' at the Albuquerque Museum

We are thrilled and honored to announce that the Gemstone Treasure Bracelet is being featured in the exhibition 'American Jewelry from New Mexico' at the Albuquerque Museum.

Santa Fe and Albuquerque, we hope that you can attend the opening on Saturday, June 2, 2018. The exhibition runs through the fall, closing October 14, 2018.

Several of the most important American designers of contemporary jewelry live and work in New Mexico, and yet for many their achievements are unrecognized locally because their work is not categorized as "New Mexican" jewelry. Therefore a new, more appropriate identity for this work is found in simply referring to it as 'American Jewelry.'

No region of the United States has a longer and more continuous history of adornment. 'American Jewelry from New Mexico' tells the stories of diverse heritages simultaneously, as artists live, work, and interact with their surroundings and neighbors.

The exhibition opens with an accompanying book published by the Museum of New Mexico Press, and a video in which Tony is interviewed about his work.
